scratchart said: use 2000x1100 comp to start and then remember to use the rule of thirds, that is what will help you more than anything!

I’m limited by an 13x17 inch illustration board (making a thank you gift for my grandmother). I’m hoping that the CGMW courses will help explain how to use the rule of thirds better than school ever did (I still have troubles understanding it). So, I just ended up scraping all of this and went with something more simple.

Still trying to find a good composition.
Thumbnailing right now. It’s for a thank you gift for my grandma because she was VERY generous and let me have a savings bond early so I can pay for CGMW classes.
Figuring out how to do silhouettes.

Okay, so I was livestreaming. The first one is the real image. The second one was done because a friend requested it and I obey.

By the way, I have a sketchblog. I post more there than here because I want this place to be a portfolio blog.

THIS ISN’T FAAAAIR. I DEMAND A RECOUNT. WITH MINE INCLUDED.

Playing around with her design some more. Still haven’t really decided on how I want her to look.
I really hated the old designs for Adesh and Lucy so I’m re-working them. Plus, with the shift of focus from an animation thing to a racing game it needs a re-design.
Trying to do some full environments for Trashplanet. I kinda took it in another direction over my past quarter at SCAD and decided to go with something more like a mix of borderlands and double dash.
Also, I have a sketchblog: www.ripvondraw.tumblr.com So check me out there. :D

Man, I’ve been neglecting this tumblr, haven’t I? OPPS. Imma about to put up an in-progess thing in a minute.

Trying to figure out how to draw a little girl. Getting there slowly but surely.
Sometimes, I just really like doing these quick things.
